We have a responsibility to respect human rights. And we know that by advancing human rights in our operations, we’re strengthening our business and building trust. To make sure we’re respecting – and advancing – the human rights of everyone in our value chain, we need to be sure we understand our impacts.

We welcome the requirements of the Australian Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018 (the Act) and see the transparency it encourages as coherent with our support for the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

In 2023, we adjusted our reporting period from financial year to calendar year to align with the timings of Unilever PLC modern slavery reporting for the UK, and ensure consistency of dates in our reporting across different markets.
