Streets & Continental sign up for REDcycle program

Did you know that you can recycle your empty ice cream wrappers and soft plastic packets and keep them out of landfill?

Recycle your soft plastics

As part of our commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our products, Streets and Continental have signed up to the REDcycle recycling initiative. This new soft-plastics recycling program makes it easier for Australian consumers to play their part in diverting re-usable materials away from landfill and help create a sustainable future for our world.

Over the coming months, both brands will begin to introduce new labelling on-pack to let consumers know that these wrappers can be recycled. The soft plastics and empty packaging collected are used to create new products such as sturdy outdoor furniture and signage.

All you need to do is drop your ice-cream wrappers and empty Continental packaging into the specially marked bins at selected Coles and Woolworths supermarkets.
