Streets Ice Cream brings together flavour and fun in the most delicious way. With a range of loved brands including Magnum, Golden Gaytime, Blue Ribbon, Paddle Pop and Bubble O’Bill, there's something for everyone!

The Streets Ice Cream Tradition

Streets was founded in 1920 by Edwin (Ted) Street – Australia’s first ice cream hero. Ted began by hand churning frozen custards in his back shed which he would sell to neighbours along with sweets, cakes and lemonade. As the popularity of his sweet treats grew, Ted started using a cart, then a one horse-power motorbike to transport and sell his delicious ice creams.

Today, Streets is made at our factories in Minto and around the world, and sold throughout Australia and New Zealand. On any given day, we make around 200,000 litres of ice cream which is equivalent to filling a couple of backyard pools!

Bringing Joy to Life

With decadent flavours, creamy tubs to share and ice blocks to refresh, Streets is guaranteed to make you smile. No matter your preference - we continue to expand our portfolio to suit your lifestyle and choices with a variety of options such as dairy free, gluten free, lower sugar, portion-controlled minis and treats.

Our Purpose

Streets has always had purpose at its core, and our founders were beacons of this. Ted and his wife Daisy gave away more than $2 million to local communities, retirement homes, hospitals and schools. As a Unilever brand, Streets is committed to making sustainable living commonplace. We want to do more good for our society and planet – not just less harm.

For ice cream specifically, we have global targets on the areas where we can have the most impact - Cabinets, Cows, Communities & Crops, and Circularity. Streets is committed to putting in the work, dedicated to making it easier than ever for us all to Choose Happiness Together.
