A step towards conserving water
Unilever worldwide is a huge user of water all along its supply chain. With water quality and supply being such a timely issue in New Zealand, and especially Australia, employees nominated water as a vital issue in our environmental program.
Unilever has established a partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) and together we aim to help local environment groups to make a real difference to the environment.
Volunteers from Unilever participate in the program, Bluewater, and work in the local environment under the supervision and direction of CVA. Bluewater focuses on water issues and education about water quality management. It also helps our employees to be more aware and informed about water management and conservation.
