Performance Development Planning (PDP) helps improve your performance through honest feedback and creating an individual Development Plan for you.

Aligned to business strategy

Your manager and you will have regular Work In Progress meetings to formally discuss project updates, issues, challenges and successes. Your manger will help you to examine your strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies moving forward, in addition to any day to day support they give you.

But ultimately you’ll be responsible for your own development and will need to be proactive in securing development opportunities. To ensure continuous improvement you should also set and review your own objectives and seek feedback from those you work with.

When considering an individual’s suitability for more senior roles, we also assess whether they have had sufficient breadth and depth of experience within their function to be successful at the next level.
