Frontline support to the business is provided by Business HR Managers (BHRMs) and Business HR Advisors (BHRAs) and Site HR Managers (for our factory sites) who deal with general and performance-based issues and site within each business function for day-to-day- hands on involvement.
Supporting the BHRMs, HR Site Managers and BHRAs is the core of HR teams which operate on a shared services model.
This shared services are split across 2 key areas:
1) Unilever Peoplelink – which delivers HR services such as payroll, employment policy and employee benefits
2) HR Centres Of expertise which specialize in research, design and deliver world-class solutions for

In the thick of the action working across all functions of the business and at all levels of seniority, you will need to have strong skills in consulting, strategic thinking and engaging others in addition to intellectual ability in order to not only deliver but successfully implement world class solutions. The HR team epitomize Unilever’s cultural diversity and has individuals from a range of backgrounds including: Consulting, HR, Marketing, Psychology and General Commerce.
As an HR trainee, you’ll benefit from broad exposure to the business and could enter into any one of these areas, gaining experience in culture change, leadership development, talent management, employee relations or the alignment of reward with performance in your first few years.
