The Bertolli range is much more than just olive oil. We have developed a wide range of culinary products based on Italian home cooking and the healthy Italian lifestyle, including pasta sauces, olive oil sprays and spreads made with olive oil.

Did you know?

It requires a long, delicate production process to transform olives into the precious green liquid used every day in salads and cooking. A series of procedures must be followed, including:

Harvesting – harvesting begins between November and January when the olives are almost ripe.
Crushing – the shorter the time between harvesting and pressing of the olives, the better.
Kneading – the oily paste is delicately kneaded to allow tiny droplets to blend into larger drops and to expel the water contained in them.
Extraction – the final stage in the process is separation of oil from residues, called 'marc'.
Storage – olive oil must be preserved carefully to keep its quality intact. It’s kept in non-porous stainless steel containers to prevent batches from contaminating one another.
