To achieve optimum wash results the recommended dosage stated on the pack should be used

ProductNormal LoadLarge Load or Hard Water
Standard Powder¾ cup1 ¼ cup
Concentrate Powder1 scoop1 ½ scoops
Liquid1 cap1 ½ caps

Using too little detergent causes poor soil and stain removal, greying of whites and soil build-up in the machine. Using too much detergent is uneconomical and increases the risk of over-foaming and thus poor rinsing of clothes.

Is Persil or Persil Low Suds laundry detergent biological?

The term 'biological' is a European term used to inform consumers when a product contains enzymes. Products without enzymes are termed 'non-biological'. Persil High Performance,  Persil Aloe Vera and Persil Low Suds laundry detergents are 'biological' as they contain enzymes. If you are looking for a non-biological product use Persil Sensitive or Persil Low Suds Sensitive laundry detergent.

What is the difference between a concentrate and a standard powder?

Persil Concentrate laundry powder and Persil standard laundry powder are designed to give great wash results.  The concentrate powder has a number of benefits over the standard powder, including packaging in a size and shape compatible with modern laundries, a reclosable lid to prevent powder spillage and a convenient scoop to improve dosage control. When used at the recommended dosage, Persil concentrate laundry powder results in 10% fewer chemicals entering our environment than when using the standard powder.
