Future Leaders Programme
Designed to turn talented graduates into managers, our programme will allow you to experience more in three years than you ever thought possible.
A real job from day one
Focused on building leadership capability and accelerating your development, the programme involves a number of job rotations. Real roles with real responsibilities that will provide fantastic insight into the organisation, continually test and develop your skills, and give you the chance to make an immediate contribution to the business.
To help you realise your potential you will work with your line manager to agree some challenging targets to be achieved in your first year, accompanied by an individual development plan to help you achieve these targets.
See the bigger picture
Wherever you're based, you'll quickly begin to see how the functions operate closely together. To help you better understand that interaction, you'll often work as part of cross-functional teams.
You'll also get involved on every level, for example, from working on the factory floor to spending time in a supermarket. As you move on, your placements get more challenging. That can mean managing larger budgets, bigger brands or more people.
We'll help you, help yourself
We'll support you every step of the way, but much of your progress will be up to you. As well as learning on the job, you'll have access to many carefully selected learning programs to build fundamental leadership and business skills – in some areas – these will lead to professional qualifications.
You'll need to be focused and ambitious to get where you want, identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for your own development.
Want More
Graduates who come through the programme will become one of Unilever’s Future Leaders. They will be leaders with a difference, leaders who want more for the world and more for themselves and who have grown as professionals and as people. These leaders have been operating in a global company whose vitality mission includes the principle of “doing well by doing good”, mixing commercial business drivers with sustainability and social responsibility.
