Creamy chicken with mushrooms
The taste of smooth creamy mushroom makes this a mouthwatering recipe.
Serves: 4 Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
250g fettuccine
1 tablespoon oil
500g chicken fillets, cubed
1 red capsicum, sliced
1 x 480g jar of Chicken Tonight, Lite Creamy Chicken with Mushroom
2 zucchinis, sliced
1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds.
Preparation
Step 1: Cook pasta according to packet directions until 'al dente'. Drain well.
Step 2: While pasta is cooking, cook sauce as follows: Heat oil in a medium saucepan and brown chicken and capsicum. Add Chicken Tonight and zucchini and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Serve sauce spooned over cooked fettuccine, sprinkled with toasted almonds. Serve with a mixed salad and crusty bread.
